The 2000 Lafon Meursault Perrieres had great precision to the nose, full of Asian grill, minerals, spice, butter, smoke and light toast. The nose was very clean and fresh as well, possessing another level of purity. The palate was so pure, long and balanced with gorgeous depth and length of acid without being acidic. There were also great citrus and corn flavors in this magnificent wine which held tremendously in the glass (96)
