An elegantly wrought version that exhibits lime blossom, acacia, hazelnut, peach and citrus flavors, all tied up neatly with the supple texture. Fresh and focused, with a lingering aftertaste of citrus and mineral. Best from 2016 through 2024. (BS) - WS

This is also notably riper but slightly fresher with its aromas of acacia blossom, lemon zest and mineral reduction. There is both good energy and volume to the stony medium-bodied flavors that are relatively generous yet retain a good sense of detail on the naturally sweet, intense and lingering finish. I like the complexity and this should age well over the mid-term. - BH

Pale, bright yellow. Expressive musky aromas of candied lemon peel, peach, spices and flowers. Silky, fresh and firm, with ripe acidity framing and carrying the flavors of lemon peel and flowers. Lovely stuffing and lift here. Finishes dry and perfumed, with sneaky length and subtle minerality. Leflaive is using just 20% to 25% new oak for their premier crus nowadays, notes winemaker Eric Remy. - VM
